Tower Plaza is a unique, seven story historic building in Downtown Albuquerque directly across the street from the Doubletree hotel. The Tower Plaza has seen several different uses in its lifetime. Orginally built at a brewery in the 1920's it has been an ice storage plant, then covereted into commmercial spaces with offices, a restaurant and KDEF Radio in the 40's, 50's and 60's and eventually in 1990 it was turned into loft apartments. Due to the overall design of this complex each loft is unique and the floor plans are quite large, with one to three bedrooms.
